15 Watt RGB LED Tape
5050 SMD, 60 LEDs Per Metre
Availability: In Stock for next day delivery
Offering twice the output of 7.5w tape, our 15 watt colour changing LED tape is ideal for areas where more brightness is required or where there is a lot of strong ambient lighting. This makes 15w strip lights a great choice for clubs, front and back bars, restaurants, hotels, home, exhibitions, signage and much more. And used with our optic extrusions, our 15w RGB LED tape can perform as a wall colour-washer.
You can order your RGB colour-changing LED tape in standard lengths and cut to the nearest 100mm, or we can pre-cut and solder the lengths your project requires here at InStyle – no matter how large or small. We can also provide 15w LED tape certified to IP67 standard (which means it can be used in locations prone to moisture, such as bathrooms) or even externally.
InStyle LED supplies commercial grade LED tape using premium components, built to last and with consistent colour batching. We can also offer you a variety of options to control your 15 watt colour-changing LED tape – from wireless remote controls to DMX receivers and wall controllers. Please visit our controller page for more details.

Fully compatible with these LED controllers
Yes you can mix the colours to get a white or warm white colour.
RGB Tape and the controllers are sold separately, if you purchase RGB Tape with a wireless controller we can set them up and make sure they are working together so you can just install the tape.
For more information, see our support page on RGB and RGBW LED controllers.
RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue. These colours are used in the RGB tape which helps create the millions of different colour combinations that can be output using this tape.
InStyle also offers RGBW tape, which has an additional white LED chip – giving you perfect white light, and the option to mix with the other three primary colours creating a range of pastel shades.
Be aware that higher-power LED strips are less flexible than lower-power ones. This is because the LED modules are placed closer together on high-power strips, and require wider PCBs (for more heat dispersal).
For more info and examples, check out our support page.
To work out what transformer you require this is quite simple. You take the amount of LED tape you have in metres and x this by the wattage of the LED tape you have, again per metre.
For example 3m of 14.4w LED tape: 3 x 14.4w = 43.2w Therefore you would require a 60w transformer.
For more information, see our support page on LED power supplies and their output.
InStyle LED manufacture and supply commercial-grade LED strip lights – which means our products are high quality and built to last, using only premium components and branded LEDs:
- Brighter LEDs
- Vibrant and consistent colours
- Accurate life expectancy
- Sturdy PCBs
- Excellent resistor management

Deciding on which wattage you require is all down to what kind of application you are fitting the LED tape in.
The 5w and 10w is ideal to be used as feature lighting. Lighting to highlight areas, as a secondary lighting. Ideal for covings, drop down ceilings signage etc. to give a smooth halo effect. The 10w would be preferred to the 5w for these applications if there is a high amount of ambient lighting.
The 15w and 20w is ideal to be used as general lighting or as feature lighting for areas larger than covings etc. For example washing down front bars / back bars / under kitchen cabinet lighting as ‘working light’

I purchased 20m of this for my bar. The LED Tape washed down the front of the bar and looked very bright. I did however have the paint the bar white as this helped a lot in picking up the colours properly. As previously when I had the bar brown it didn't mix the colours quite correct
I was purchasing the LED Tape from my local wholesaler for a little bit cheaper than InStyle LED. However they ran out one time so I tried Instyle's LED Tape out and paid a little more for it but once I received It, it was far brighter. I now only by the commercial grade tape from InStyle
I ordered from John, he was extremely helpful. Next day delivery and the best quality I have used by a long way (brighter, runs cooler)
