24 Watt RGB + Dual-White
5-in-1 SMD, 60 LEDs Per Metre
Availability: In Stock for next day delivery
And using RGB and dual-white light in tandem opens up an unlimited range of pastel colours that three primary colours (RGB) couldn’t create on their own.
With brightness up to 1,728 lumens per metre, InStyle’s high-quality 24W RGB + dual-white LED tape lights are powerful enough to provide high-brightness main lighting and working light. If you need something slightly less bright (for highlights, accents and other features), take a look at our 12W RGB + dual-white LED tape.
RGB + dual-white LED tape is available on 5m standard reels with cut-points every 100mm or InStyle can pre-cut and solder your LED tape order to the lengths you need. There’s no minimum order, and we can offer helpful advice and technical support to make your LED project run smoothly from start to finish.

Fully compatible with these LED controllers
RGB + Dual-White LEDs offer the colour-mixing of 3-colour RGB (red/blue/green) plus dual-white (warm & pure shades) light palettes, all combined in a single diode. Together they provide ultimate flexibility for white and coloured lighting.
Be aware that higher-power LED strips are less flexible than lower-power ones. This is because the LED modules are placed closer together on high-power strips, and require wider PCBs (for more heat dispersal).

To work out what transformer you require this is quite simple. You take the amount of LED tape you have in metres and x this by the wattage of the LED tape you have, again per metre.
For example 16m of 12w LED tape: 16 x 12w = 192w. Therefore you would require a 200w transformer.
For more information, see our support page on LED power supplies and their output.
This type of LED tape requires an LED transformer and LED receiver to get it working. Connect the transformer to the receiver – this supplies power to the circuit. Because RGB + dual-white LED control requires five channels, use a length of 5-core cable to connect the receiver and LED tape: black lead goes to +ve and the five coloured leads are wired to -ve. The cable can be extended as necessary, to mount the transformer as far away as required.
Deciding on which wattage you require is all down to what kind of application you are fitting the LED tape in.
12w RGB + dual-white LEDs are ideal to be used as feature lighting. Lighting to highlight areas, as a secondary lighting. Ideal for covings, drop down ceilings signage etc. to give a smooth halo effect. The 10w would be preferred to the 5w for these applications if there is a high amount of ambient lighting.
24w RGB + dual-white LEDs are ideal to be used as general lighting or as feature lighting for areas larger than covings etc. For example washing down front bars / back bars / under kitchen cabinet lighting as ‘working light’
For more information, see our support page discussing how bright your LED tape needs to be.

IP67 Heat-shrink type is required in areas where you will need resistance to water. For example bathrooms, kitchens and exterior. The heatshrink version is waterproof but it cannot be submersed, for example in a pond. The IP67 Heat-shrink is a protective coating over the LED tape, this makes it easy to wipe to clean etc.
For more information, see our support page describing the waterproof LED strip light options we offer.
All the LED strips are cuttable. Each can be cut at various points, either 50mm, 100mm, 150mm or 200mm depending on which wattage version you have. We can either cut the lengths to your specific lengths as required or you can do this yourself. Once cut to length to join this to a transformer or another piece you will need to be capable of soldering, or if not we also supply 2 types of clips. One type is a starter lead clip, which is s clip that joins onto the off cut and has a cable coming out of it. The other clip is a ‘tape to tape clip’, this clip joins 2 pieces together.
