Product Description
Our flat based aluminium extrusion is an ideal low-cost solution for projects where you’re mounting LED strips on an uneven surface, or on a surface that LED strips won’t stick to (such as plasterboard). The extrusion’s metal surface provides a much more practical surface for adhesion, as well as working as an additional heatsink which can prolong the life of your LEDs. Read more.

This extrusion has a very narrow profile (just 12mm wide, 3mm deep), and is available in 1-metre lengths as standard. Because its main purpose is to provide an even surface on which to mount your LEDs, the flat base extrusion is not supplied with a diffusing polycarbonate cover (unlike the majority of our aluminium extrusions).
Flat based extrusion lengths are easily cuttable and easy to fit too – simply screw the extrusion into position. (Screws not supplied.) Multiple lengths can be butted together to give a continuous effect.
