Suffolk Weddings uses RGB LED Tape

[/fusion_title][fusion_text]Yesterday we posted a blog post on how LED Tape are perfect for lighting  functions and parties, another great example of using LED’s for this purpose is for a wedding.

Suffolk Weddings is currently upgrading it’s luxurious wedding venue in Suffolk which is set to be complete by August of this year. Part of this upgrade is the use of LED lights in the bar area.

Our colour changing RGB LED Tape has been installed under and along the bars surface and a along the bottom of the bar as well. You will also notice in the photo that the glass shelf holding the spirits behind the bar also has blue light shining upwards. The bar area using 14.4w RGB LED tape at the front and 7.2w RGB LED Tape at the back

The project is using RGB LED Tape in 2 different wattages-

The front bar as this is a bigger surface to cover, this is using the RGB LED Tape 15w commercial grade. A total of 5m was used and installed at the top f the front bar facing downwards to wash the whole front bar. The LED’s are hidden behind a ‘lip’ so you can just see the effect but not the individual LED’s. The LED Tape is wired back to a transformer and a Multizone receiver.

The back bar as this is a smaller area to light up, this is using the RGB LED Tape 7.5w commercial grade and this lights up the glass shelf and the bottles perfectly. A total of 3m was used and installed at the back of the shelf shining upwards to give the halo glow and to light the bottles. The LED Tape is wired back to its own Multizone receiver.

Both Multizone receivers are wired into one transformer as both RGB LED tapes are 24v. The Multizone receivers are set up to 2 separate channels by the handheld wireless remote. The wireless remote can then select each zone independently or them both together at the same time.

The Multizone receiver does not need to be ‘line of site’ with the receivers so they can be tucked away, or hidden.
