20 Watt RGBW LED Tape
4-in-1 SMD, 60 LEDs Per Metre
Pure White or Warm White
Availability: In Stock for next day delivery
At InStyle, we offer two varieties of RGBW LED tape – with different whites, so you can choose exactly the right colour palette for your home or other project.
- Pure White – white LEDs with a hint of cool blue (approx. 5500 Kelvin)
- Warm White – white LEDs with a richer, more yellow hue (approx. 3000 Kelvin)
With a total wattage of 20w per metre, this LED tape will produce a massive 1440 lumens per metre when all four colours are at full brightness. With the four colours mounted in each SMD (as opposed to 2 separate runs), this LED tape mixes light at source – which means you’ll get smooth consistent colour when the light falls on any surface just a short distance away (around 20mm).
Drawing 24 volts, InStyle’s LED tape is 12mm wide and 3mm in depth. We only use commercial-grade components, including branded high-quality Epistar SMDs and thicker 3-ounce printed circuit boards to efficiently disperse heat. This means our LED tapes really do achieve a genuine lifetime of 70% @ 50,000 hours use.
RGBW LED tape is available on 5m standard reels, with cut-points every 100mm. There’s no minimum order, and InStyle can assist you with your project from start to finish with advice and technical help – we’ll even supply your LED tape in easy-to-fit kit form, pre-cut and soldered to the lengths you need.
All of Instyle’s products are in stock with a 2 year warranty.
InStyle’s LED tape is ideal for homes, restaurants, clubs, bars, hotels, and signage. And the list doesn’t end there – with the complete control it offers, this RGBW LED Tape can be used anywhere!

Fully compatible with these LED controllers
RGBW stands for Red, Green, Blue and White. These colours are used by the RGBW tape to mix the millions of different colour combinations that can be created using this tape.
Be aware that higher-power LED strips are less flexible than lower-power ones. This is because the LED modules are placed closer together on high-power strips, and require wider PCBs (for more heat dispersal).

To work out what transformer you require this is quite simple. You take the amount of LED tape you have in metres and x this by the wattage of the LED tape you have, again per metre.
For example 8m of 19.2w LED tape: 8 x 19.2w = 153.6w Therefore you would require a 200w transformer.
For more information, see our support page on LED power supplies and their output.
Deciding on which wattage you require is all down to what kind of application you are fitting the LED tape in.
The 5w and 10w is ideal to be used as feature lighting. Lighting to highlight areas, as a secondary lighting. Ideal for covings, drop down ceilings signage etc. to give a smooth halo effect. The 10w would be preferred to the 5w for these applications if there is a high amount of ambient lighting.
The 15w and 20w is ideal to be used as general lighting or as feature lighting for areas larger than covings etc. For example washing down front bars / back bars / under kitchen cabinet lighting as ‘working light’

I have used this LED Tape in several rooms around my home. I went for the RGBWW(warm) 20w type as advised by John and have to say I couldn't be happier. The goods arrived next day, John spoke to my electrician and answered any questions he had, and finally the lights are exceptional. Bright enough to use as general lighting with also the option to add a hint of colour when required. I couldn't recommend this any more highly.
