Here’s a great idea for warm colours on a cool night.

Jamie at JRC Property Solutions needed colour-changing LED tape to add some light to this garden summerhouse. He chose 25 metres of InStyle’s 7.5-watt RGB tape (12V), heatshrink-coated with an IP67 rating (waterproof) for exterior fitting.

Colour-changing RGB LED strip lights can output literally millions of colours by mixing red, green and blue light. By combining all three colours equally, you can even produce pure white light.

There’s a range of options when it comes to choosing RGB control units, which you can see on our LED controller page. Jamie chose to manage the summerhouse lights with one of our multizone controller units with wifi capability, plus a compatible multizone receiver / wifi receiver combination.

The whole installation is powered by one of our commercial grade Meanwell-branded 200-watt transformers.
