InStyle LED Lights featured in Mondo Arc Magazine

[/fusion_title][fusion_text]InStyle LED lighting features in the latest issue (December/January issue 76) of Mondo Arc Magazine, a magazine that is dedicated to Architectural, retail and commercial lighting, for the lights we provided for Samba Swirl Camden store in London.

The article is a great read which looks at how the contracted design agency Mizzi Studios set about creating a launch that would completely refresh Samba Swirl’s identity using the brand new store in Camden for the companies rebranding launch.

Samba Swirl wanted to bring an exciting up tempo, warm and welcoming vibe to the store and looked at the South American carnivals for their inspiration. The store features LED‘s in the walls, floor and ceiling, so as you enter the store light is pulsating everywhere that you look, creating a feeling of a store that is alive and breathing. As you read on through the article Mizzi Studios talks about how they worked with InStyle LED closely to help get the programming just right to allow the designers to animate the light at a very intricate level that has never been seen before on the high street in London.

This precision of the programming was vital as the lighting would be needed to be able to react to sound for weekend party evenings and for happy hour.  Mizzi is quoted “The last thing we wanted was to send every customer mad and stick them in something akin to a spinning slot machine, so we composed multiple rhythms with slow pulsing intervals in between the more animated scenes, constantly refreshing the element of surprise, in a subtle manner.”
