Lighting & home-control installations by Veritais

Based in the UK and France, Veritais specialise in lighting, entertainment and room/cabin control systems for superyachts and residential properties. We love their work, so today we’re highlighting a pair of their impressive home-control installations – both using high-quality InStyle LED strip lights and other products.

Notting Hill home – smart lighting

As well as audio visual control, Veritais fitted this London residence with a smart lighting system using InStyle strip lights and other LED products – enabling full control of all lights from any switch in the house, including the facility to create scenes/effects for any occasion. Automated effects include turning the garden lights on at sunset, when the front door is opened, and when stairways and rooms are entered, providing safety for the family as well as making life simpler.Veritais installed colour-changing LED strip lights from InStyle under the ensuite vanity units to provide low level lighting, behind the basement wine cellar’s racks, and on the main staircase to highlight the glass panels. Outside, InStyle LEDs were installed on the garden’s back wall.

Country home – LED colours combined

Veritais installed InStyle LED strip lights in several areas of this Warwickshire country home to create some striking effects.  Two types of LED strip lights were installed in parallel in the pool area – enabling blue or warm white effects, or a combination of both, at the touch of a button. The bespoke bookcase is backlit with LED strip lights. The staircase’s base rail has been fitted with LED strip lighting to offer low level lighting.

The installation used a combination of IP-rated 15-watt blue LED tape (25 metres) and 5-watt warm white LED tape (50 metres). Power throughout was provided by 2 x 200W TRIAC mains-dimmable transformers in the pool area, together with a mix of other TRIAC units elsewhere.
