A great accessory for the LED Tapes are the Tape to Tape connectors you can use to connect LED Tape together without the need to solder. But how does this work, read on to find out how to use these connectors.

The first connector the Tape to Tape connector (Available for both Single colour and RGB) :

All you have to do with this connector is to un-clip the fold over clips, slide  the LED Tape into it so that the metal tongs come into contact with the copper pads, and do the same on the other side with the other piece of LED Tape that you want to join it too, making sure the positive and negative correspond with each other. Once this is completed you then clip the the clips back into place and you have completed the join and both tapes will then light up when powered.

The second type of Tape connector is the Starter Lead connector:

With this Tape connector it is the same process again by un-clipping the clips and sliding the LED Tape into it making sure the copper pads are touching the metal tongs inside, making sure that the positive and negative wires correspond correctly (Red to + and Black to -). As this connector has the starter lead connected to it there is nothing else to attach to this, so again you close the clips into place and you then wire to a transformer and the LED Tape will then power on.

The third type of connector is the Link Cable:

With this connector it is again the same process as the one before, un-clipping the clips and sliding the LED Tape in with the Copper pads touching the tongs, and again closing the clips. But this time you must do the same on the other LED Tape you want to connect to it making sure that the positive and negative cables correspond to the the correct + and – pads on the LED Tape (Red to + and Black to -). Once powered on the LED Tape will then illuminate.
