For their latest prestigious installation project Ben Allen of GRS was looking for approximately 25m of high power LED Tape to go round the complete ceiling of a swimming pool area. The customer was looking for enough light to light up the whole room and for the light to sit in a ceiling coffer so you could see the effect but not the LED Tape itself.
John at InStyle recommended and supplied 25.4m of the 14.4watt Warm White LED Tape commercial grade. These were cut and soldered by InStyle to 4 lengths consisting of 2 x 8.6m and 2 x 4.1m. IP67 LED tape was used due to the area of the install and the possibility of water condensation. 2 x 200w Meanwell transformers were used to power the LED Tape. These were fitted in the ceiling area and powered 2 lengths of LED Tape each with a feed being supplied to 2 corners of the room.
The completed effect looks stunning. The LED Tape goes all the way around the room giving a bright, smooth effect and with the LED Tape hidden in the ceiling coffer you can only see the lighting effect and not the LED Tape itself. The customer was extremely happy with the results and it was exactly what he was looking for.
